About this site

macOS Installer Archive is an independent archive that helps you find every version of macOS and Mac OS X, from the 2001 original to today's release.

Apple makes older versions surprisingly hard to find. They're hidden from App Store search and spread across support articles. We collect the official links in one place and explain the steps.

What we do and don't do

• We don't host any files. Every download link goes to Apple's own servers, the Mac App Store, or a well-known community resource.
• We don't link to pirated, modified or “pre-activated” copies of macOS.
• We check the links regularly and note the date at the bottom of every page.

Not affiliated with Apple

This site isn't affiliated with, authorised or endorsed by Apple Inc. Apple, Mac, macOS, OS X and Mac App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Information is provided as-is. Always back up before installing an operating system.
